Delete your DoneganOS account

This page explains how to delete your DoneganOS user account (DoneganOS web app and the DoneganOS Android app). DoneganOS is operated by Magnetic Holdings LLC. Deleting your user account is different from closing a company and its business records.

Option 1 — signed in (fastest)

Sign in, open your profile or company settings, and choose Request account deletion. Because you are signed in, your identity is already confirmed.

What happens next

  • We confirm the request comes from the account holder (signed-in requests are already confirmed; others are confirmed by replying from the account email).
  • We review it, and if you are a company's only owner we contact you about transferring ownership or closing the company first.
  • We aim to complete the deletion within 30 days after your identity is verified, and email you when it is done. If we need longer — for example while company ownership is transferred — or must keep certain records by law, we will tell you why.
  • You can cancel a request until review begins.

What is deleted

  • Your sign-in (email, password, Google link) and profile.
  • Your company memberships and role assignments.
  • Your notification device tokens and notification preferences.
  • Your personal usage history that isn't needed for a company's records.

What is anonymized

  • Your name on jobs, visits, notes, photos, time entries and approvals you created for a company is replaced with "Former user", so the company's history stays accurate without identifying you.

What a company may keep

  • Invoices, payments, refunds and tax records — the company may be legally required to keep financial records.
  • Hours and time-clock records — needed for payroll and employment records.
  • Security and audit history — needed to investigate fraud and abuse, kept with your identity removed where possible.
  • Customer records held by a company you were a customer of. Ask that company directly to delete them; we will forward your request.

Deleting your account does not cancel a company's subscription or delete the company. Company owners can ask us to close the company separately.
